Cigar News, Gossip and Rumors

This past week has been very interesting.   I read some information on Cigar Feed, about changes going on with Davidoff.   This could have big implications in the Cigar Industry. I encourage everyone to check out the Davidoff news over at Cigar Feed.  This discusses the management changes, rumors about Davidoff courting Perdomo (which I have heard), and implications to the integration of Camacho and Cusano into the Davidoff family.

Gossip/Rumors: I also continue to hear rumors about Altadis courting Drew Estate.   This is something definitely worth keeping an eye on in 2011.  With potential legislation against flavored cigars continuing, could this be the point where Drew Estate decides to sell?

Cigar Feed also has information in regards to the future of the Nostoros brand.  A while ago, I mentioned the alliance between Drew Estate and Illusione around the Nosotros  had come to an end.  It now appears the remaining  Nosotros cigars in the Drew Estate factories will be released after all.
