Le Bijou Federal Cigar 91st is now Le Bijou Federal Cigars Edition

Earlier this year, Federal Cigars in New Hampshire announced two limited edition cigars by My Father Cigars to commemorate their 91st anniversary.  The cigars were special variations of the My Father Le Bijou 1922 cigar called the “My Father Le Bijou Federal Cigar 91st Cervantes” series.  One was a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper version and the other was an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper version.   Both cigars were released in a “Cervantes” (lonsdale) vitola.  Now Federal Cigars has announced that the Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade version will be an on-going retail-exclusive cigar to Federal Cigars and it has been renamed as the “My Father Le Bijou 1922 Ecuadorian Connecticut Federal Cigar Edition”.

When it was originally released, the original My Father Le Bijou Federal Cigar 91st Cervantes – Connecticut Shade was only available for purchase in the retail store.  It was also extremely limited as only 50 boxes were produced.  The re-branding of the My Father Le Bijou 1922 Ecuadorian Connecticut Federal Cigar Edition not only makes this blend available for online purchase, but adds a petite robusto and corona size to the mix.   There are some packaging changes that reflect the re-branding.

Our assessment of the Cervantes vitola back in February scored a 93 and we rated it as one of the best lonsdale vitolas to be released in a some time.
