Villiger Cigars has recently their new Villiger NicaRoma line.  The cigars are intended to be a value priced cigar with the first cigar starting at a price point of $3.99.

The NicaRoma will come with three wrapper choices, a Honduran Connecticut, a Nicaraguan Habano, and a San Andres Maduro.  A 6 x 50 toro size will be the initial vitola offered with robusto, churchill and gordo sizes following in June 2013.

Villiger Cigars can be traced back to 1888 when Jean Villiger established Villiger Cigars in Pfeffikon, Switzerland -where the company remains today.  The company today is under the leadership of Heinrich Villiger.  The company has been involved with selling pipe tobacco, smokeless tobacco, and machine made cigars. Lately, there has been an emphasis on premium hand-made cigars – and the NicaRoma is one of the offerings.
