Eduardo Fernandez and Paul Palmer of Casa Fernandez were guests on the 6/29/13 edition of Kiss My Ash Radio and confirmed their plans for the 2013 IPCPR Trade Show in Las Vegas. The company is getting ready to launch a maduro extension to its Miami Reserva line – called the Casa Fernandez Miami Reserva Maduro.

The cigar will have 100 percent Aganorsa farm binder and filler and be wrapped with a San Andres wrapper.  The San Andres wrapper has become a staple of maduros from Casa Fernandez.   In describing the cigar, Palmer said it has been referred to as a “chocolate bar” that is “full bodied”. The cigar will be launched in three sizes.

The genesis of the Casa Fernandez Miami line started as a rebranding of the company’s self-titled core cigar.  This was done to reflect Casa Fernandez’s relocation to Miami, Florida. At the 2011 IPCPR, another blend under the Casa Fernandez Miami line was introduced Casa Fernandez Miami Reserva.

The Casa Fernandez Miami Reserva Maduro will be one of two cigars launched at the 2013 IPCPR by Casa Fernandez.  The other is the Casa Fernandez 35th Anniversary.
