La Aurora Cigars will be releasing special edition versions of its La Aurora Cameroon and La Aurora Corojo blends.  This release will commemorate the famed factory’s 110th Anniversary.   We first learned about these cigars in a discussion with Miami Cigar and Company Assistant Director of Marketing Barry Stein at the 2013 IPCPR Trade Show.  Some initial information about the blends was then published in an article by Cigar Aficionado.

The 110th Anniversary editions of the La Aurora Cameroon and La Aurora Corojo will be different blends and have special 110th Anniversary footer bands.  It is worth noting that these cigars have already gone through some iterations of re-blending over the years.

At the 2013 IPCPR Trade Show, there was a theme of the 110th Anniversary incorporated into the booth’s theme.  According to Stein he mentioned that La Aurora is very big on anniversaries and 2013 represents the 110th anniversary of the factory.  At the time of the trade show, the finished secondary bands for the 110th anniversary cigars were not finalized, but there still was a band on display.

At a glance, here is a look at the 110th Anniversary editions of these cigars:
