Cigar News: Tatuaje Pudgy Monsters Released

This past week, the long awaited Tatuaje Pudgy Monsters series has started arriving at retailers nationwide. This is a sampler pack that contains smaller versions of the six popular Monster Series releases, as well as two additional unreleased blends.

The Pudgy Monsters is similar to 2012’s Tatuaje Little Monsters series with one difference – the Pudgy Monsters have a larger ring gauge than the Little Monsters release.

Included in the sampler are Pudgy Monster releases for Frank, Drac, Face, Wolf (man), and Mummy. These five releases were all a part of the Little Monsters series. For these sizes, they are based on the same blend. They share the same ring gauge size as the original Monster counterpart, but the same length as their Little Monster counterpart. There is one cigar of each of these blends included in the Pudgy Monsters sampler, and it marks the third vitola made for each of those blends.

There is a Pudgy Monsters’ version of the JV13 – the 2013 Monster release called “Jason”. This is reported to be a shorter version of the original JV13. It marks the first new vitola to be based off that blend. There is one cigar of this blend included in the sampler pack.

The two new blends are “Chuck” and “Tiff” representing the characters from the “Child’s Play” movies. There are two cigars of each of the two new blends included in the sampler. Both are short robustsos. Tatuaje has not disclosed much information about the two new blends.
