Villiger Cigars will add two new vitolas to its Cabarete Maduro and Trill lines.  The Cabarete Maduro will add a 5 x 60 Gordo which will become the fifth frontmark in that line.  Meanwhile, as we mentioned in our assessment of the Trill, a 5 x 46 Corona will be added to that line – which will also be the fifth frontmark in that line.  Both vitolas will be launched at the 2014 IPCPR Trade Show in Las Vegas.

The Cabarete Maduro and Trill are two of three new lines (the third being the Cuellar Connecticut Kreme) that were launched by Villiger in 2014.  They are the first new lines to since Fabian Barrantes came over from Boutique Blends to join Villiger as Director of Marketing.  The three lines were originally launched at the 2014 TAA before being generally available.

All of these news lines are being produced out of Tabacalera Palma in the Dominican Republic and incorporate tobacco from Jochi Blanco’s farms.

The Cabarete Maduro Gordo will have an SRP of $170 per box of 20 while the Trill will have an SRP of $139 per box of 21.
