Davidoff has announced a line extension to its Puro d’Oro series. This cigar will be the shortest and largest ring gauge cigar of the Puro d’Oro series. It is a 3 3/4 x 58 vitolas called that will be known as Gorditos.   The cigar will be sold in boxes of 25, sampler packs of four, and a part of a special sampler pack known as “Short Pleasures”.

The Puro d’Oro line was launched in 2010.  The blend features a special wrapper developed by Master Blend Hendrik Kelner known as Yamasa.   This is a Dominican-grown wrapper. The wrapper gets its name from a town in the southern part of the Dominican Republic.

Availability of the Puro d’Oro is expected to be in March 2013.
