A 6 x 58 version of La Aurora’s Preferidos Diamond is heading to six states.  A Facebook post by Miami and Cigar and Company mentioned that this cigar will be a regional release heading to the states of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia.  The cigar is being called La Aurora Preferidos Diamond Chicho’s Choice.  It is being named for the territory’s  ales representative Christopher “Chicho” Lenzo.  According to Miami Cigar and company he is the longest tenured sales representative with the company.

It was at the 2012 IPCPR Trade Show where La Aurora Cigars announced the Preferidos Diamond.  This cigar  added a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapped option to La Aurora’s famed Preferidos line. The Preferidos line is famous for its perfecto shapes and associated perfecto shaped tubes.  The 6 x 58 Chicho’s Choice adds a parejo shaped offering packaged in cellophane.

According to Miami Cigar and Company, the cigar is expected to be available after the Thanksgiving holiday.  There will be 150 boxes of 25 produced.

La Aurora Preferidos Diamond

The original La Aurora Preferidos Diamond consisted of a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Dominican Maduro binder, and Dominican filler.  It was released in a 5 x 54 perfecto.  It scored a 93 on Cigar Coop this past June.

The La Aurora Preferidos Diamond Chicho’s Choice becomes the second regional release by Miami Cigar and Company this year.  Recently the Nestor Miranda Special Selection Exclusivo Regional was released to the midwest U.S..
