Caldwell Cigar Company, the new company launched by Robert Caldwell is releasing three new blends in a new line of cigars called Seleccion Junior Varsity.  This line joins the Caldwell Collection as launches for 2014 and brings the total number of blends to six.

From looking at the Seleccion Junior Varsity, these will be more budget friendly from a price and packaging point.  The cigars have an SRP ranging from $4.90 to $6.90.  All of the cigars will be packaged in boxes of 10.  A 6 x 60 ring gauge will be common across all of the offerings.

Let’s take a look at the three blends of the Seleccion Junior Varsity:

Sevillana

This will be a Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper offering in four sizes:

Super Sport: 5 3/4 x 41
Torpedo: 6 x 52
Magnum 60: 6 x 60
Churchill: 7 1/4 x 48

Murcias

This cigar will contain a San Andres Maduro wrapper:

Corona: 5 3/4 x 43
Man on the Moon: (Belicoso – size not disclosed)
Toro: 6 x 54
Magnum 60: 6 x 60

Gilbratar

This cigar will contain a Dominican Habano wrapper

Corona: 5 3/4 x 43
Perfecto: (Size not disclosed)
Robusto: 5 x 50
