At Inter-Tabac 2014 in Dortmund, Germany, E.P. Carrillo showcased two new cigars.  According to a report by Cigar Aficionado, the cigars are targeted for a release for Europe in October and will hit the U.S. market later in 2014.  The cigars are the E.P. Carrillo Cabinet and the E.P. Carrillo New Wave Reserva.

The E.P. Carrillo Cabinet follows a trend we have seen by the company in 2014 – the use of Corojo wrapper.  Cigar Aficionado has noted the Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper is the same one that has been used on the recently released E.P. Carrillo INCH C-99.  The recently announced E.P. Carrillo Medalla D’Platino – a shop exclusive for Federal Cigar is also using this wrapper.  A Dominican Corojo wrapper was used on this year’s E.P. Carrillo INCH Short Run 2014.

The E.P. Carrillo Cabinet is being launched in four sizes.  The cigars are being packaged in 25 count boxes.  The price will range from $6.30 to $8.30 (U.S. Dollars).  Cigar Aficionado says there will be an initial shipment of only 200 boxes.
