Atladis U.S.A will join the list of manufacturers releasing a cigar to Tobacconist Association of America (TAA) retailers. For its contribution to the 2015 TAA Exclusive Series, Altadis will release a cigar under its Por Larranaga brand called the Por Larranaga TAA En Cedro.

The Por Larranaga has been one of the more dormant brands in the Altadis portfolio. The Por Larranaga TAA En Cedro will feature a cedar sleeve on it. It will be a limited production cigar produced at the La Flor de Copan factory in Honduras.

The cigar follows a trend seen in several Altadis lines – namely producing a Nicaraguan puro. Nicaraguan puros have been released in other lines including VegaFina Nicaragua, Juan Lopez, RyJ by Romeo y Julieta , and Montecristo Espada by Montecristo.

This follows up Altadis’ 2014 TAA Exclusive Cigar, the H. Upmann Bank Note TAA Exclusive.

Cigar Aficionado has reported the cigar will be released in one size, a 6 x 54 Toro.  The cigars will be packaged in 16 count boxes with a total production of 1,000 boxes.
